Craftsmanship and Shear Sharpening

I've seen too many convex shears turned into a bevel edge. What a shame. Not every sharpener is a good one.

I sharpen with stones and polishers that are the highest quality for the sharpness you need. Whether you "slide cut", "chop", "razor cut" or "thin", I can "Sharp N All" of them.

Don't be fooled!!

THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO SHARPENING THAN EQUIPMENT. Your shear isn't just "run through a machine" but is sharpened by an "experienced craftsman" who takes pride in the quality of his work and the satisfaction of his customers.

The proper training, tools of the trade, quality craftsmanship, reasonably priced service and customer care are all part of the experience waiting for you at "Sharp N All".

I don't even mind if you stand behind me and watch.

The "Ride" of your shear is that thin shiny line on the inside of your shear. It is a major key to the sharpness of your convex shear. And I believe it still needs to be done by hand!

The machine of choice for me is the Scimech like the one seen at left. Remember, its not the machine that does the job... it's the craftsmen using it! But... you're a professional... you know that!

There is so much more to sharpening than equipment.
